Welcome to the death forum

Death is changing.

From digital monuments and mourning rituals, to smart tombstones and robot priests, to developments in AI offering the possibility of immortality, and medical advancements changing the very criteria we use to declare a person dead. Because of science and technology, our rituals, culture, and the very definition of death is changing.

How else are we impacted by this shift and where is it taking us? A wider and more open conversation about death is happening, from the death positivity movement, small town Death Cafe’s, and artists exploring death, dying, grief and the afterlife in ways we have never seen before.

The Death Forum is concerned with tracking and discussing this change and its impact, whilst laying a foundation of understanding of what came before it.
